Currency
For deliveries in Canada, prices will be charged in Canadian dollars.
For deliveries in the U.S., the charges will be the U.S. equivalent.
For our U.S. clients you will notice that the charge on your credit Card statements is the Canadian dollar equivalent and in many cases will not be exact to the penny as the price shown on the site, due to the exchange rates that change daily with the credit card companies.
As a Canadian company all charges are billed in Canadian dollars.
For all orders we transmit to the U.S. the Exchange rate applied is based on the exchange rate set out by FTD.
e.g. An arrangement shown as $100.00, for delivery in the U.S. is actually billed as $120.00 Canadian.. $100.00 plus 20% exchange (exchange rate may vary).
An arrangement of $100.00, for delivery in Canada is billed as $100.00 Canadian.
Prices do not always include applicable taxes.
Delivery Policies
Delivery Area
FTD can deliver flowers to almost 100% of the United States and Canada. We can also deliver flowers, worldwide, to more than 150 countries across the globe.
FTD Substitution Policy
Substitution may be necessary to ensure your arrangement is delivered in a timely manner. The utmost care and attention will be given to your order to ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested item.
1) There shall be no substitution in type of arrangement; that is, no change in size or shape.
2) In arrangements of assorted flowers, the colors shown in the online catalog should be used if at all possible, even if this means substituting other kinds of flowers of equal value.
3) When substitution is necessary, the utmost care shall be taken to maintain the overall effect of the arrangement illustrated in the online catalog. For example, spiked flowers should be substituted for spikes and round flowers for round.
4) In one-of-a-kind flower arrangements, such as roses, the variety is of first importance, preceding color in this instance only.
Floral Delivery Time
FTD offers same-day delivery on most floral orders placed before 2:00 PM in the recipient's time zone. We do not offer same-day delivery on some arrangements that use unique flowers or plants — such as exotics — due to the limited availability of these flowers and plants.
Specialty Gift Delivery Time
Specialty gift orders are delivered through a shipping service and arrive based on the shipping schedule selected during the order process. FTD ships specialty gifts through standard shipping (3-5 business days), two-day, or next-day delivery. Please note: Gifts to recipients in Hospitals may take an additional 3-4 days for the hospital to process and deliver.
Scheduling Deliveries
FTD can guarantee delivery on a specific day, but cannot guarantee a specific delivery time during the day. On some occasions, the recipient may be called to ensure delivery on the date requested.

Each FTD floral arrangement is designed and delivered by a professional FTD florist.
Everyday Occasion Orders
When placing your order, please identify the date upon which it is to be delivered. Same-day deliveries are accepted; please refer to the following delivery schedule for specifics:
United States: Orders received before 2:00 PM in the recipient's time zone can be delivered the same day.
Canada: Orders can be delivered the same day if they are received before 2:00 PM EST.
Orders received after the above times will be delivered the following day.
Sunday deliveries are not available. Orders received for delivery on Sunday will be delivered the following Monday.
Holiday Occasion Orders
Since holidays are busy times at FTD, it's important to place your order early. Prior to certain holidays, we'll post specific delivery schedules.
Funeral Orders
Same day delivery is available on orders placed by 2pm in the recipient's time zone.
For morning services or delivery, orders must be placed by 3pm in the recipient's time zone on the day before.
For afternoon services or delivery, orders must be placed with a 4 hour lead time.
Special attention will be given to your funeral order to ensure it is delivered before the service.
Exotic Flower & Plant Orders
Exotic flowers and plants are only available for next-day delivery. Orders must be received before 2:00 PM in the recipient's time zone to ensure next-day delivery.
Specialty Gift Orders
All gift items in the site, other than flowers, are considered specialty gifts. These products are usually delivered by a package delivery service rather than through a local florist. Customers have a choice of when the gift will be delivered based on standard (3-5 business days), two-day, and next-day delivery. Prices vary for each. Currently, specialty gift deliveries are only available in the United States.
International Orders
International deliveries are made to locations outside the United States and Canada. Floral arrangements delivered internationally may vary due to current exchange rates, or regional and seasonal availability. Currently, specialty gifts are unable to be sent internationally. Prices may be subject to change for certain countries. You will be contacted if additional funds are required for your order.
General Orders: Next Business Day
International deliveries can be made the next business day when you place your order by 5:00 PM EST.
Orders placed after 5:00 PM EST on Friday can be delivered the following Monday.
Orders placed after 5:00 PM EST on Saturday or anytime on Sunday can be delivered the following Tuesday.
